The Publishing Platform Business Rolled Out by Six Apart, Ltd.

This is a new interview and dialogue series hosted by Arc Communications President & CEO Mariko Ohsato, which began with the last funNOTE issued in the summer of 2011. In the second of this series, Ohsato, joined by Arc Communications’ Yoshiro Sato, speaks with Nobuhiro (Nob) Seki, President & CEO of Six Apart, Ltd, developer of the Movable Type (MT) CMS which has become sort of a de facto standard in the industry. He had many interesting things to share with us, including the background to the establishment of the original Japanese subsidiary (Six Apart K.K.) and the development of the Six Apart business going forward.

    Draw it in 2 minutes!

According to the Chinese zodiac, 2012 is the Year of the Dragon, so we chose this mythical creature as the theme to draw in this issue. As you will see, the imaginary creature became even more unique in the hands of our staff! This time, we also had cross-country skier Yuichi Onda participate, so be sure to check his drawing out, too!
