Fun with Japanese calligraphy!
– Four-character phrases –
There is an old saying in Japan that those practicing calligraphy on the star festival, ‘Tanabata’ (July 7), will develop better handwriting.
With the advent of the digital age, we rarely get the chance to practice our handwriting.
With this in mind we decided to practice a little calligraphy. And rather than just writing a character, or a word, we thought, why not do something a bit cooler? Why not write down our favorite four-character phrases?Enjoy some of our best efforts at calligraphy, with sayings that are both wise and inspiring, to phrases that are a little kookier.
By the way, the four-character phrase that best expresses Arc Communications is-
