Draw It after 45 Seconds
– Let’s All Do Some Doodling –
Those who have read past issues of funNOTE are probably familiar with this staff feature, “Draw It after 45 Seconds.” We’ve had new staff join us since the last time, and we decided that it might be good to stimulate the “artistic side” of everyone, so we have decided to bring it back.
There may be many of you who are seeing this staff feature for the first time, so here are the rules. We present everyone with the theme, and they have 45 seconds to think about how they are going to draw it. Another 1 minute to do the actual drawing. This time, however, the theme was a bit difficult, so we gave everyone 2 minutes to draw.
The theme this time was “Morihiro Horie doing ski orienteering.” With that said, however, we bent the rules a little bit and said it did not have to look like him so long as they drew a person. Do you think people were able to capture the essence of ski orienteering in their drawings? What was interesting was that it seemed the people who are actually involved in the sport had a more difficult time than others in drawing the pictures. Imagine that!
