  2. Translator of the Year

  As for the customary "Translator of the Year" awards, Arc Communication’s Translation/Localization Department has selected, with gratitude and respect, the three following translators for their outstanding work in the past year.
  We would also like to take this opportunity to thank our many other translators for their continued cooperation and dedication. We look forward to another year of working with our excellent team of partners.

  

  3. Ski Team: Season Starts!

  Winter is here, and so is the beginning of the full-fledged season for Arc Communications’ Ski Team members.

  Some of you might have heard about it in the news, but Yuichi Onda was hospitalized with pneumonia at the end of last year. Luckily, he was discharged much faster than expected, and managed to grab the second spot at the ONEWAY Cup All Japan Cross-Country Race (sprint, free) that was held in Hokkaido, on January 7, 2015.

  On December 10, 2014, Yu Yoneya left for Colorado (USA) where he trained at an altitude above 3,000 meters. He returned to Japan at the end of January upon completion of his training program.

  In December, Morihiro Horie participated in a training camp at Mount Zaō in Yamagata Prefecture, where he could practice on real snow for the first time this season.
